Oahu, Hawaii

Today we decided that we would head to the North Shore and actually go swimming in the ocean.  Before getting there, we stopped at the Waikele Premium Outlets for a bit of shopping at Crazy Shirts.  Across the street was a Leonards Jr.’s Malasada wagon.  Malasadas are deep fried dough balls that melts in your mouth, they’re covered with your choice of white sugar or cinnamon sugar.  Yummy!!

On our way to the North Shore, we passed endless pineapple fields.  We brought our Cheesecake Factory leftovers and enjoyed them at the Haleiwa Beach.  We drove along until we could find a beach where we would not get sucked out.  We ended up at Hukilau Beach for an hour of baking our brains in the sun.  We continued driving around the island stopping at various beaches until we got back to Waikiki.

Dinner was chinese leftovers which we enjoyed on the lanai.  We ended the evening by catching an episode of “Dog The Bounty Hunter” and the season finale of “The Sopranos” .
