Let the fun begin

Yes everybody.  It’s birthday vacation time again.  This year we wanted to keep the vacation on the cheap, so we decided to go camping once again in New Jersey.

We tried very hard to get out of work early today but it just wouldn’t be.  We finally got on the road around 5:30pm.  We crossed into the US using our NEXUS bridge (Whirlpool Rapids Bridge).

We stopped at Cracker Barrel and actually enjoyed dinner in the restaurant for a change.  Normally we grab our meals and eat them in the car.  It was a different experience eating without having your dinner moving.

A quick two hours later down the I-90 and we arrived at the Comfort Inn Carrier Circle ($95.39 USD) in Syracuse.  This is our last night with actual walls surrounding us.
