It was so nice to sleep. In fact, everyone ended up to taking their time getting up today. Once we got going, we decided that we should have breakfast out in honor of Mother’s Day. Dave, Michael and Liam headed out before us girls so that they could do some shopping. The girls then met them at Doreen’s Cup of Joe. Karen’s research paid off because this place was excellent. From the Strawberry Pancakes to the Bacon Waffles to the Pumpkin Cheesecake Pancakes, everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals.
The afternoon was spent hanging out poolside. I think I spent almost three hours in the pool. We did everything from having races to shooting each other with water guns to practising jumping into the water. It was a lot of fun.
The boys thought they should try their luck at the dock with the fish. By using the right bait (frozen shrimp), there were six fishes caught including a catfish.
I went out and picked up dinner from Cracker Barrel. Sunday means HomeStyle Chicken which we enjoyed with a beautiful sunset as our backdrop.
Some of us ended our day with a movie on the comfy couch while others tried their hand at night time fishing.
