We started today by being lazy. I think it was after 9:30am before we all congregated by the pool to enjoy breakfast. We did some brainstorming coming up with a list of things we want to do this week and we decided that today would be a beach day.
We packed up the cars and headed over to South Marco Beach. It was a hot sunny day and there were quite a few people there. Once we got everything set up, we went straight to the water. I was pleasantly surprised to find the water warmer than I expected. The afternoon was spent swimming, napping and snacking. We did not find any good shells today like we did the last time we were here. We will have to come back at low tide later in the week. We soon realized that we were one of the few people left on the beach so we thought we should head back.
After we had dinner, it was back in the pool to watch Game 2 of the Stanley Cup Eastern Conference Final. Homemade ice cream sandwiches along with a movie is how we ended the night.
