Bon Jovi … round #2 … what a real man smells like

Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON and the first of two nights of Bon Jovi.

Once we finally got out of work, it took us 2 hours to get from Kitchener to our hotel (Delta Chelsea ($89 CAD)) where we would be for the next couple of nights.  Once we checked in and got upgraded to a premier room (duvets and feather pillows), we picked up some dinner (sandwich and a salad) and grabbed the TTC.

It took us honestly five minutes to get from College to Union Station (not enough time to finish our dinner).  Once we got to Union Station, we sat down and finished up our dinner.  While walking to the Air Canada Centre, they were handing out samples of R.S.V.P., the new cologne by Kenneth Cole that Jon Bon Jovi endorses.  We made our way to our seats and fortunately missed Hedley.

Jon and the boys started the show at 8:45pm and it was 45 minutes before they even stopped to take a break.  Bon Jovi played for close to 2-1/2 hours and it was awesome.  A complete set list can be found at www.bonjovi.com.  Once again Jon and Richie sang in the crowd.  I think for tomorrow night’s show we will be kinda close to them.

We took the subway back and ended up stopping at Fran’s.  Peter from work told us about this place.  It’s where you go to have a late night snack before heading home.  The place must be good because the police stopped by to pick up some coffees.  After enjoying a late late dinner, we walked back to our hotel and crashed for the night.  I have to be up early tomorrow.  Bon Jovi tickets go on sale at 10am for a second show in March 2008.
