Bon Jovi … round #1 … he’s hot

Tonight was the first night for Bon Jovi.

We left town around 5pm and arrived in London at 6:30pm.  We originally wanted to have dinner at Mongolian Grill but when we got there, there was no parking and it was getting late.  We decided to head over to the John Labatt Centre, park the car and find a place to eat.  We stumbled upon the Covent Garden Market and found some pretty good fish & chips.  I would really like to come back to this place on a Saturday when I think it would be very interesting to explore all of the different vendors.

We made our way across the street and worked our way through the long line to get into the show.  We got settled into our seats just as Hedley was performing.  I can’t really say much about them because I just kept wanting them to get off of the stage.

Finally at 8:30pm, Jon Bon Jovi and the boys hit the stage.  All I can remember is that it was a 2 hour and 10 minute party.  They did songs from each album including “Runaway”, “Born To Be My Baby” and quite a few from the new album “Lost Highway”.  A complete setlist can be found at www.bonjovi.com.  At one point, Jon sang a couple of songs in the crowd and then Richie joined him for “I’ll Be There For You”.

To sum up the show … it f&*#&$*# rocked!!

(P.S. the pictures aren’t great but at least they’ll be a memory)
