A quiet kind of day

There was no rush to get up early today since there were no real plans. Eventually everyone got up and we enjoyed some French toast and bacon that Darlene and Nana made.

How did we spend the morning? … hanging out on the lanai. I worked on the blog while Nana did some knitting. Darlene and Karen made some progress with their books.

We did take a trip down to the beach where the turtles like to come on shore and sun themselves.

After lunch, we had a mid afternoon outing to Whalers Village for some shopping.

Since we were already half way to Front Street, we decided to keep going and have an early supper at Aloha Mixed Plate. It is my favourite restaurant on Maui.

Back at the condo, we changed into our bathing suits and headed down to the pool, staying just long enough to catch the sunset. Once we went upstairs, pyjamas were on before 7:00pm. Another quiet evening.
