We are sad today because we are leaving the Noelani Condominum Resort but we are happy because we have one more week on Maui. Of course today would be the day when we would see lots and lots of turtles in front of the condo.
We got all of the suitcases and assorted other bags down to the car and somehow managed to fit them all in before heading to Kahului. We got to the Maui Swap Meet around 11am which gave us a couple of hours to check out the various vendors. The swap meet has everything from fresh fruits and vegetables, t-shirts, jewellery and some food trucks. Each of us managed to find something to buy.
Since by now it was lunch time, we headed to the Maui Marketplace Mall to have lunch at Ba-Le Sandwiches & Bakery. We still had some more time to kill before we could check into the condo so we went to Fabric Mart and the Queen Kaahumanu Center.
This week we are staying at the Sugar Beach Resort ($2750 USD, unit #535). Normally when we stay in Kihei, we stay at the Kealia Resort which is next door. Unfortunately they had no units available this time. The unit we are staying in is very spacious and has the same awesome view as the Kealia. We brought our stuff up and quickly got settled in.
By now it was time for dinner, so we decided on trying Fabiani’s Bakery and Pizza based on TripAdvisor reviews. It was a quaint little restaurant that served fabulous food. Once again TripAdvisor has not steered us wrong. We ended our night by picking up supplies from Foodland and relaxing at the condo.
