I was so happy when I woke up this morning and saw that the sun was shining. I took care of some weekly music trivia via a conference call while Karen went and picked up breakfast from Slappy Cakes. While we were enjoying our pancakes and french toast, we spotted lots of turtles in the water right in front of the condo.
After breakfast, we headed to the airport to pick up Karen’s friend Paula. She has spent the last week on Oahu and is now joining us for the last week here on Maui. On our way back from the airport, we picked up lunch from Fish Market Maui and Honokowai Okazuya and Deli which we enjoyed on the lanai
We thought we should hit a beach for a little bit this afternoon, so we went to D.T. Fleming Beach Park and walked along the Kapalua Coast Trail. At the start of the trail, we saw a wedding taking place. We all were somewhat tired, so we went back to the condo to relax poolside.
We ended our day with dinner and shopping in Lahaina before going back to the condo to start packing up. Tomorrow we leave the Noelani and are heading for Sugar Beach Resort.
