Wrapping it up

Today is our last day in Prague.

Nana and I headed down to breakfast while everyone else enjoyed some sleeping in.  I did not realize that breakfast was served until 11:00am, so  we should have slept in as well.  Anyways, since today is a free day, everyone had come up with some different plans.

Karen and Marie recreated the walking tour from yesterday but threw in more shopping.  Steve and Linda walked to Old Town Square and then went shopping at the Palladium.

Nana and I walked to Old Town Square because I wanted her to see the Christmas market there.  There were far less people that yesterday and with the snow falling, it made it even prettier.

On our way back to the hotel, Nana and I had lunch at a family run Czech restaurant.  It was a really nice way to cap our walk to Old Town Square.  We also stopped in at a couple of grocery stores to pick up snacks for the flights tomorrow.  Once we got back to the hotel, we did some final packing and had a nap.

We decided to have one final dinner together at Titanic Steak & Beer Restaurant.  It was great reminiscing about our trip.  I’m so thankful that I have the blog so that I do not have to remember anything.

Every time we go out, we would walk by Eden’s Garden Massage and say we should go in and get a foot massage.  Well Marie and I finally decided that tonight would be the night.  All I can say is that is an excellent way of wrapping up a trip.  Especially one where there was a lot of walking.

The evening finished up with everyone finishing their packing.  We asked the front desk if they could take our bags tonight instead of at 3:00am tomorrow.  They said it was no problem.  This way we would be able to get a little bit more sleep.  We have to leave the hotel at 4:00am tomorrow morning and every extra minute of sleep will help.
