Karen and I were joking before I left that once we are on vacation, time just better slow down. I can not believe that I have already been here a week. Because it was Veteran’s Day today, Shayla and Sienna had no school. Earlier in the week when we asked them what they wanted to do on their day off, they said let’s go to the beach. Darren was not able to join us at the beach today, but us girls managed to have a great time. We did all the normal beach activities … swimming, eating and playing in the sand. Once we got back to their house, we spent the rest of the afternoon, just hanging out.
Thanks to Darren, I was able to check out “Burn N’ Love” for the fifth time this week. After the show, I dropped Darren at home and then headed back to the condo to finish up packing up. I am very excited since the Maloney’s will be arriving tomorrow to start the next part of the vacation.
