Vacation … start of week #2

It was sad to leave the Kahana Village today.  But we’re very happy that we are starting week number two of our vacation.  We packed up the car and boy was it crowded.  We decided that we would try to drop off our luggage at the Kealia Resort.  Luckily for us the condo (unit 304) was ready.

Every Saturday, the Maui Community College hosts the Maui Swap Meet.  They sell everything there … produce, t-shirts, bags, jewelry, etc.  We spent a couple of hours walking around the four and a half acres in the hot sun buying lots of stuff.  Before heading back to the condo, we picked up lunch from Bruddah Willy’s Sticky Ribs.  It was probably one of the best BBQ I’ve ever had.

After unpacking, we went down to the pool to enjoying a refreshing swim, and then to lie on the lounge chairs at the beach.  We decided to have dinner at Aroma D’Italia Ristorante.  Another fine meal.  After dinner, we stopped in at Longs and Safeway to pick up provisions for week number two.  We went back to the condo to enjoy an evening of tv with the waves crashing below us.
