Happy Birthday to me!!!
I love sleeping in on my birthday. After enjoying breakfast by the pool, Karen and I went out to do some last minute shopping. When we got back, we decided to enjoy one final swim. Instead of going out, we ordered in Chinese food and had a relaxing dinner. There was even some leftover birthday cake to enjoy.
We packed up the car and said our goodbyes to Allison and followed Darren to work. He stars in “American Superstars” at the Stratosphere Hotel. He got us complimentary tickets and the seats were at the table where Darren comes out during his part of the show. We were able to spend a few minutes with Darren after the show before leaving for the airport.
Our flight was on time and we actually got into Detroit 45 minutes ahead of schedule. We must have caught a great wind.
Thanks to Karen, Darren and Allison for making this the best birthday ever. I can’t wait until next year.
