Finally the day has arrived. Bon Jovi has returned to Toronto for 3 shows this week. And before you ask, Yes, I am going to all of them.
We were able to get out of work early and were on the road by 4:20pm. The drive was going great until we were about 10 minutes away from Yorkdale and then traffic crawled. It took us 1 hour to go the 10 minutes. Once at the mall, we parked the car, jumped on the subway and 20 minutes later we were in Union Station. I dare you to find something decent to eat at Union Station. We managed to find a bagel shop and grabbed a couple while enjoying the atmosphere of train station.
We got inside the Air Canada Centre and managed to catch a bit of Daughtry. Not sure if I like them or not. Jon and the boys hit the stage at 8:45pm and for the next 2-1/2 hours, it was a full on assault. A complete setlist can be found at www.bonjovi.com.
We made our way back to Union Station to catch the subway back to Yorkdale for a much quicker drive home.
