I woke up this morning after having the best sleep that I have had in a long time. Eventually everyone got up and gathered around the pool. I think this is something that we will do every morning while we are here. After breakfast, Michael and Liam went swimming while the adults just lounged around. We asked the boys what they wanted to do today and they said the beach.
We had to make a quick stop at Beach Unlimited so that the boys could get some new beach toys like we discussed yesterday. There are only two access walkways to South Marco Beach and the owner gave us a tip on some free parking near one of the entrances. It always pays to listen to the locals. I was very surprised to find that the beach was not crowded at all. The afternoon was spent playing in the sand, looking for shells, napping and just relaxing. Even though it was warm and sunny, I did not venture into the water since it was just a little bit too cool for me. We ended our day at the beach admiring a beautiful Florida sunset.
From the beach, Karen and I headed off to the Cracker Barrel in Naples to pick up their world famous home style chicken which we enjoyed poolside back at the house. We finished our evening with a quick swim and the movie “Inside Out”.
