After enjoying a hot breakfast, we said goodbye to the Best Western Plus Victor Inn & Suites and headed over to the EastView Mall where the L.L. Bean is located. We’ve been wanting to go to L.L. Bean for a while so we decided to add a shopping trip before going to Las Vegas. We ended up spending a couple of hours and a few dollars.
We packed up the car with our new purchases and headed across the street to The Olive Garden. We through that we should have a really good lunch because it would be a long time before we would have dinner tonight. And boy did we ever have a good lunch.
We headed back to Buffalo to catch our Southwest flight (? USD) to Las Vegas. We landed around 5:30pm and the first thing we noticed was how cold it was. We thought we left that weather behind but unfortunately it followed us. We picked up our Toyota Corolla from Hertz ($147.84 USD) and headed to our first stop which was Freed’s Bakery where we picked up a few slices of cake.
Our second stop was In-N-Out Burger where we picked up dinner before heading to our hotel the Hamptonn Inn Las Vegas/Summerlin (80.10 USD).
We checked in and then made our way to Darren and Allison’s house where yet once again we surprised him. We spent a couple of hours getting caught up. The last time we visited them was two years ago. The purpose of our trip this time is to help them pack for their big move back to Canada. We decided to call it an early night since we have to be back at their house for the garage sale at 9:00am.
