Garage sale

5:00am … that’s what the clock radio said when I woke up with morning.  My body hasn’t adjusted to the time zone change yet.  After grabbing Hampton Inn’s famous hot breakfast, we headed over to Darren and Allison’s to help them out with their garage sale.  We spent a lovely day just hanging out in the sunshine and selling stuff.  We closed up shop around 3:30pm and then Karen and I went back to the hotel to have a nap.  We went downstairs to lay by the pool but unfortunately the sun decided to not make an appearance.  We packed up our stuff and went back upstairs.

We went back to Darren and Allison’s and picked them up for dinner.  We wanted Mexican which meant Cozymels. When we got there we noticed that the parking lot was empty.  Darren went up to the door and sure enough, the restaurant was closed.  We had to come up with a backup plan and that was Japanese/Sushi.  Darren and Allison suggested going to Osaka Japanese Bistro.  What a great meal we had.  I think the best part was the deep fried bananas.

After stuffing ourselves, we headed back and called in an early night.
