Karen and I decided that we didn’t want to hang around the house this weekend but were not sure where we wanted to go. We used this new website that I learned about, Sidestep, and we were able to find a flight from Detroit to Las Vegas for $202USD. That is the cheapest flight ever. I called up our good friends Darren and Allison and asked if they had any room at their bed & breakfast for the weekend. They said they did and so we booked our flight. We are flying with Spirit Air and the best part, is that it’s a direct flight both ways.
Since our flight is at 9:15am, we decided to head down to Detroit tonight to stay over. We booked a Park & Fly package at the Days Inn ($85USD). The drive down to Detroit was long, boring and we arrived at the hotel at midnight.
