Karen’s niece Liz Maloney is a beach volleyball player who plays for Team Canada. She and her partner Heather Bansley had a great year on the FIVB circuit. So good in fact that they were choosen to represent Canada at the 2011 Pan American Games which are being held in Mexico. We thought why not go and support Liz and Heather.
Once we told Liz’s parents (Ross and Susie) what we were planning to do, they wanted to go as well. There was lots of research and planning and we decided to book our flights with itravel2000.com ($581.51 CAD) flying from Toronto.
Lucky for us, Ross and Susie live in Toronto and they suggested that we come down tonight and stay since our flight is at 6am. We took our time heading down to Toronto and ended up getting to Ross and Susie’s around 9pm. It was getting late so we all decided to head to bed. It’s going to be a long day tomorrow.
