A few years ago, a tradition was started to take a trip during the week of my birthday. This year was no exception. Well the only exception was that we didn’t want to spend a ton of money. The only way to accomplish that is a driving trip. We thought long and hard and I remembered that my mom’s cousin had a condo in Palm Beach. Actually it’s in Riveria Beach on Singer Island. My mom called and asked if we could use the condo and he said yes. Yippee. We got the Streets & Trips fired up and began planning the journey.
I would like to thank Stan Piekarek for letting us use his lovely condo.
We got out of work by 3:45pm (I was aiming for 3pm) and once we finished packing up the car, we were on our way by 5pm. This put us 1 hour ahead of schedule. We had Cracker Barrel in the car for dinner and we arrived at the Super 8 Motel – Mars/Cranberry/Pittsburgh Area around 11:15pm.
