The plans for today was that we had no real plans. After some discussion, we decided to head into Tofino. We spent the early part of the afternoon walking the main street checking out the various shops. Tofino reminds me a lot of Paia on Maui … a real surf town.
Before leaving town, we went to Tonquin Beach … another big beautiful beach. On the way back to the resort, we stopped at the original Tacofino food truck and had their amazing fish tacos.
Because it was warm and sunny, we grabbed our stuff and headed down to the beach. I was surprised that there were not as many people as there was yesterday. We did not want to go out for dinner so I went back into town and picked up fish and chips from Big Daddy Fish Fry.
We ended the day with a walk over to Sunset Point.
