My body still hasn’t adjusted to the time change so I was awake at 6:30am. I walked by Shalya and Sienna’s room and saw that only Sienna was in her crib. I picked her up and we went downstairs and played until the others got up. I mentioned to Allison that I was going to head to Kahului so that I could do some shopping at the Queen Ka’ahumanu Center. She suggested we girls should all head to the mall. We enjoyed a late lunch along with some shopping. The girls even got to enjoy the activity center.
We headed back home so that I could join Darren at his promo at the Kahana Falls Resort. A few times a week, Darren along with Kim (one of the dancers) do these promos to give people an idea what the Burn ‘n’ Love show is about. When we walked into the room, the crowd of people erupted into applause. Darren and Kim did a great job of entertaining the people.
For the last few years, Darren’s dream has been to have a show of his own. Even though he spent eleven years performing in Las Vegas, it wasn’t his show. In 2013, he was fortunate to find someone that believed in him and his vision about the show. As I sat down in my seat, I remembered that the last time that I had seen Darren perform was 2011 and I was truly looking forward to seeing this show. All I can say is that I was completely blown away. There is a reason that Burn ‘n Love is the #1 thing to do according to Trip Advisor.
