It was somewhat of a late night last night, so we decided that we would sleep in today. It was around 8:45am and I was just relaxing in bed when all of a sudden the phone rang. It was Allison letting us know that Darren had a promo today at the Ka’anapali Beach Club which is very near to us. The problem was that it was in half an hour. We quicky got ready and were able to meet Darren. This promo was different than the others I have been to in the fact that it was only one song. Since it was quick, we went back to his house so that Karen could see Allison and the girls. On our way back to the condo, we picked up a late breakfast of pancakes from Slappy Cakes.
We wanted to hit a beach today so we packed up the car and headed to D.T. Fleming Beach Park. We quickly found our spot for the afternoon. The waves were huge today so we decided not to go into the water for fear of being sucked in. We did some reading, snacking and napping all under the beautiful sunny skies. When we got back to the condo, we took a quick dip in the heated pool and then spent the rest of the afternoon relaxing on the lanai.
We needed to eat dinner so we decided to go to Thai Chef which is in the same plaza as Darren’s show. The food was just as good as the first time I was there. Darren was kind enough to give us tickets to the show and once again he put on a fabulous show.
