Hanging out

Before I went to bed last night, I checked to see what time the sunrise would be.  It said 5:07am and wouldn’t you know it, they were right.  After giving Maui his breakfast, everyone went back to bed for another few hours.  When I got up again, I noticed that I received a text from Kris saying that they should be arriving in about an hour.  I looked at my watch and realized that would be right about now.  Sure enough in a few minutes, Kris, Becca and Lynden pulled up in the driveway.

They left home around 11:30pm last night and drove all night long.  Needless to say, everyone was very tired. Therefore we spent the day, just hanging out at the house.  We did venture out a couple of times.  We got lunch from the Sea Street Cafe, dinner from Pizza Barone and dessert from Little Miss Cupcape.  Yummy food all around especially the cupcakes.

After dinner, Becca stayed behind with Lynden while the rest of us went to Sea Street Beach.  Maui was able to dip his paws into the Atlantic Ocean.  We decided to make a quick stop at the Christmas Tree Shops before calling it a night.
