You might call me crazy, but so what … you only live once

We were sitting around last night trying to figure out what to do for the first long weekend of the year.  Since we had such a great time at Bon Jovi earlier in the week, we thought why not go to Montreal and catch another concert.  In the span of a couple of hours, we found and booked a hotel and we were able to get tickets to the sold out show.

We got on the road around 8:30am and we got into Montreal around 3pm.  We were lucky to find a deal at Le Centre Sheraton Montreal ($109 CAD).  It is approximately 2 minutes from The Bell Centre where the concert was tonight.  After checking in, we walked over to the arena to pick up our tickets.  St Hubert is right next door so we decided to have an early dinner.  We went back to the hotel to rest up for the big concert.

All I can say about the concert was that it was probably the best show that I’ve ever seen.  Our seats were on the floor so that gave us a different perspective from the shows we saw in Toronto.  There was no opening act which was unusual.  People ask me why I go to multiple shows and I tell them, that it’s a different show each night.  The Montreal crowd loved the show, and I think I’m deaf from all the screaming.  They actually did TWO encores, which is a rarity.  First encore even included some Rolling Stones songs, and the second was Keep The Faith.  I’m totally exhausted from a three hour show!

Where should we go next?
