Another early morning today. Luckily for Maui, Tucker and Apache were up early also so he was able to have one last run with his new pals before leaving. We got the car packed up and said goodbye to our awesome Lake Placid rental. Last night when checking on Google maps and the GPS, both said to cross at the Ogdensburg-Prescott International Bridge which we had never heard of before. On the Canadian side, the bridge is in Johnstown, Ontario which is a few kilometers east of Prescott. We got on the road by 10:00am and were at the bridge by 12:30pm. We checked to see if the bridge had a NEXUS lane which it didn’t but the information on the website said that there is usually no delay for car traffic. Just like the website said, we pulled up to the bridge and there was only one car ahead of us. After speaking with the border official for a brief moment, we were on our way. The drive home was long but we were able to get home in the daylight.
Maui really likes being on vacation and I think he needs to start planning the next one.
