2-1/2 first class tickets to Hawaii.
My friend Karen is going to celebrate a big birthday this year. The trip has been deemed Hawaii 5-0. Every five years for the last twenty years, Karen has celebrated her birthday in Hawaii.
This trip has been many many months in the planning. I was lucky enough to accumulate enough Aeroplan miles that allowed Karen, myself and Karen’s long time friend Paula to fly first class to Maui. We booked the tickets in May and it’s been a long six months without a vacation.
We are spending the first week at the Kahana Village in Kahana and our second week is at the Kealia Resort in Kihei.
We left Waterloo around 7:30pm, stopped in Guelph to pick up Paula and made our way to the Hampton Inn & Suites ($116.10 CAD) near the airport. We decided to stay in Toronto since our flight is at 8:00am.
