To be continued

Orlando, Florida is home to two of the best theme parks in the world and today most of the gang headed to Universal Studios.  We have some very huge Harry Potter fans among us.  Since I did not go, I will be relying on others for the blog today.  Unfortunately everyone was really tired when they got back and therefore their updates will be added tomorrow.

So what did Nana, Karen, Joan and I do today.  We started our day by sleeping in since it was a very long day yesterday.  We headed downstairs for breakfast and then spent the rest of the morning relaxing at the pool.

Chillin’

After a lunch of leftover Olive Garden, the afternoon was spent shopping.  Highlights included Christmas Tree Shops (who knew they were in Florida), Kohl’s and Bealls.  By the time we were done, we were hungry.  We decided to go to Cracker Barrel and enjoy their Sunday Homestyle Chicken.  We got back to the hotel and I dropped everyone off while I returned the rental car.

Don’t you just love a bargain
Ladies on the prowl

We finished up the evening with a stop to check out the view from the rooftop bar.  Part 1 of the vacation is complete.  Now it’s on to Part 2.

Funniest ride: Popeye and Blutos Bilge Rat Barges

There was one  kid laughing at us and we were laughing with him .I was wearing a poncho but still got soaking wet.

Scariest ride: Jurassic park river adventure
I went up a big hill and then there was a 85 feet drop .I was terrified.

Best overall ride:Storm force acceleration.
I got in a cup sort thing and started spinning around .I went on 5 times it was so fun .

Best food:Churros
They had lots of cinnamon on them .They were very delicious.

Comments on The Wizarding World of Harry Potter (by a big HP fan):I only went on one ride but it was so much fun. I went on Hagrids motorbike it was terrifying while it was happening but amazing after The Butterbeer was the best .It was kind of sour at the bottom but sweet at the top. There were interactive spots  you would need a wand to activate them. It was so much fun.
