The day according to Liam

Dorothy and Aunt Karen came knocking on my door and asked if we wanted to go for a walk to the beach

We saw a lot of woofers

then when we went down to the beach, the water was very cold

the tide came in fast

we saw jellyfish on the ground

we saw a lot of neat seashells

big long pieces of kelp

we came back and then drove to the Cannery Row

we had big donuts

after we had the donuts, we went over to a magic shop

the store owner did some cool magic but I know all the tricks

we came out of the magic shop and walked over to the aquarium

we went to the sea otter exhibit

we watched the otters eat and they are very cute

after the sea otters, we went to the great tide pool

we saw sea lions on a big buoy 

we saw a mama otter holding a baby otter

then we went to the ocean’s edge

we saw a big octopus and it was real

we went over to the kelp forest

then we went to Monterey Bay Habitat

and then after we went to The Aviary which had birds, sharks and some rays

and then when we got through the The Aviary, we went to the touch pools

I touched a decorated crab

I also got to touch a sea cucumber

we went upstairs to the Open Sea

then we went to the jelly fish exhibit

jelly fish exhibit was dark

people that were wearing neon colours were glowing

and then after the jelly fish exhibit, we went over to see the sea birds

the sea birds had puffins and another kind of bird I can’t remember

then we went over to see a lot of plastic art

and then after the plastic art we went to the exhibit called the Open Sea

me, Dorothy and Aunt Karen went to the gift shops

we saw a lot of stuffed animals 

I surprisingly got nothing

we left the aquarium and we went to a sea otter shop

it was funny there is this funny poster that said “Hairy Otter” you know instead of Harry Potter

we crossed the street to go to another shop

that’s where a got a prehistoric shark tooth necklace

we went to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co and I had a cheeseburger

before we got our food, we saw whales in the water outside the window

then after we had dinner, we went over to Ghirardelli Ice Cream & Chocolate Shop

after we got ice cream

we went for a drive along the coast

we saw a lot of cool houses and ones that I thought were a million dollars to rent

then we came back to the mhotel as I call it  .. it’s a mix of motel and hotel

and then we got my tablet fixed when we came over to Aunt Karen and Dorothy’s room

we were entertained by my brother Michael 

he did some “magic” tricks

and then I wrote a story about the day
