Not much planned

We had no real agenda for today so we decided to hang around the condo for the better part of the morning.  Some of us hit the pool, while others worked out and even others just relaxed in a lounger and read.  It was really nice just being lazy.  Since we had not been at a beach in a few days, we thought we should go and try Napili Beach.  We knew the beach was busy because parking was  horrible.  Once we found a spot on the beach, we unpacked and got ourselves settled for the afternoon.  Unfortunately the water was way too rough for anyone to go in so we decided to pack up and head to Baby Beach.

Boys … Should we go in?

But before getting to Baby Beach, we decided to have a late lunch at Aloha Mixed Plate.  I sure am going to miss this place when I go home.  We finished up lunch around 3:30pm and drove the two minutes to the parking for Baby Beach.  There were not too many cars so this was a good sign.  Once we got to the beach, we dropped our stuff and headed right into the water.  We even got Liam to swim.  He normally wears a bathing suit that has a built in flotation but today he was not wearing it.  So we were able to convince him to try swimming without it and he did it.  He was so proud of himself.  We swam, snorkelled and relaxed for the latter part of the afternoon.  The sun was starting to set so we thought we should start heading home.

Before going back to the condo, Karen and I went over to Safeway to pick up provisions for the Thanksgiving dinner party that we will be having tomorrow.  Nobody was really hungry because of the late lunch so we decided instead to go to Whalers Village to do some shopping.  We ran into a couple of the players from the North Carolina Tarheels who had just won the 2016 Maui Invitational.  We got our picture taken with one of them and I hope that my friend from work Marcel can tell me who he is.  We finished our night by preparing a few of the dishes that will be served tomorrow.
