I head to work like every other day. Since it’s Friday, I’m trying to figure out what I’ll do this weekend. By lunchtime, I’m heading to Myrtle Beach for the following week. How the hell did that happen. Karen’s brother Paul decided to take his family to Myrtle Beach and asked if Karen and I would like to join them. After doing some mathematical calculations to determine if I would have enough vacation days for later in the summer and getting the ok from my boss, I was all set. We spent Friday night doing some serious surfing and route planning using Microsoft Streets & Trips. I think this is the fastest that a trip has been organized and booked. This would also be the first driving trip that we would get to use my new Ipod. I now have over 6100 songs … which works out to be about 16 days worth of music. I think we have enough.
