Lazy days of summer

We felt lazy today so we decided to hang around and enjoy the campsite.  We headed over to the pool but the water was too refreshing for me to go in.  The pool is huge (Olympic size) and there are lots of loungers around it.  We spent the afternoon lounging around, reading and trying to get an internet connection.

We figured that since we are at the ocean that we should have seafood for dinner.  We went into Sea Isle and picked up a scallop platter from Marie’s Lobster House.  We then went to the beach and found a lovely spot where we enjoyed our dinner.

We wanted to check out the rest of the campground so we took the tram ride that goes through the entire park.  You can not believe the decorating that people do at their sites.  There are lots of lights and flags.  People even have lazy-boy lounge chairs in  their screened in porch!  What’s nice about this campground is that it is a mix of sites.  From tents like us to huge motorhomes and park model trailers.  A lot of the people seem to be permanent summer residents, so it’s like having your own cottage, but it’s at a campground.

It’s definitely a great place to vacation and relax.

Well, well so the camping is for real. Hard to believe that the two of you can bring along enough stuff to fill an EIGHT person tent!

That is the tidiest tent I’ve ever seen – where is all the junk hidden?
p.s. did Karen win the spider solitaire game

I don’t see a trench around the tent?
