It is a pleasant cove

Everyone must have been really tired from yesterday because all of us slept in. Once we got going, we had some breakfast and then took a walk around the resort. There is a pool, hot tub and many different types of accommodations. After the walk, some of us relaxed around the fire pit.

We decided that we should go and explore the Pointe au Baril area. We drove around checking out the area. Georgian Bay is a great region to vacation in. We got back onto the highway and picked up a late lunch from Capt. Sammy’s which we enjoyed back at the cottage. There is nothing like fresh fish.

Pleasant Cove Resort has complimentary kayaks, so Karen and Jen went out for a paddle. Paul and I tried our hand at fishing off of the various docks. Unfortunately the fish were not biting. Once Karen and Jen came back, they tried their hand at fishing as well. They had no luck either. It was just real nice afternoon.

We kept dinner simple tonight with pasta. Afterwards, Paul went back out to see if he could catch any fish. No luck again. And then it was another relaxing evening by the fire.
