I’m bored, let’s go somewhere

That’s what Kai has been saying to us.  He really enjoyed himself on the last road trip and wanted to do that again.  We have not explored Quebec extensively so we thought we should visit Quebec City and Mont Tremblant.  We only started planning last week but it was amazing how quickly it came together.

I got to Karen’s house at 8:00am and by 8:30am, we had the car packed up and were on the road.  The drive was pretty easy especially through Toronto.  We made our first stop at The Big Apple in Colborne where we picked up lunch and did some shopping at the Summer Country Market.

Our next stop was almost three hours later at Tanger Outlets Ottawa to do just a little bit of shopping at Eddie Bauer, Under Armour and Lululemon.

Our last stop for the day was in Nepean.  Karen’s brother Paul and his wife Jen were kind enough to extend an invitation for us to stay with them tonight.  When we were here back in June, Kai loved running in  their backyard along with his 12 year old cousin Jersey.  We spent the rest of the day visiting with Paul, Jen, Gillian, Ken and Megan.
