Today was going to be another day of driving so we decided to sleep in and get as much rest as possible. Just down the road from the hotel was a Kohl’s, our first shopping stop for the day. Thanks Linda and Lori for the Kohl’s cash, we ended up saving more than we spent.
The five and a half hour drive to Nashville was broken up with lunch from Cracker Barrel and stops for shopping at VF Outlet, Burkes Outlet and Old Time Pottery. Somewhere along the way, we crossed a time zone and gained an hour.
As we arrived into Nashville, we headed over to Maggiano’s Little Italy because it was dinner time. It was going to be a forty-five minute wait for a table so decided to get take out which we enjoyed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Nashville-Vanderbilt-Elliston Place.
We spent the rest of the night relaxing and formulating a plan for our time here in Nashville.
