Today we started our trip back home. We did not get up too early today because the only thing we had to do was to get back to Victoria. Once we got the car packed up, we said goodbye to Cox Bay Beach Resort. I highly recommend them and we will definitely be coming back again.
Before leaving Tofino, we went to the Tofino Public Market whose motto is “Make It, Bake, Grow It, Gather It”. There were approximately thirty vendors selling everything from fresh BC produce to hand crafted artisan wares to hot food. A true representation of the West Coast of Vancouver Island.
We left Tofino around 11:30am and we only made two stops on the way back to Victoria. The first one was at Chocolate Tofino to have ice cream and the second stop was at Sprout Lake.
We got back to Karen’s cousin Pat’s in Victoria at around 6:00pm. We spent the rest of the evening catching up on our week on the island. It was a great way to finish up our trip.
