Today was Michael’s 7th Birthday. We had asked the birthday boy what he wanted to do and he said pool, mini golf and pizza. Michael also wanted an NHL party. The day started with Cathy making pancakes with bacon and fresh fruit. The rest of the morning was spent in the pool and opening presents.
We had to clean out the fridge so lunch consisted of leftovers but we also had a hockey birthday cake. How did we spend the afternoon … In the pool of course. I believe there was also some napping done.
We picked up dinner from Joey’s Pizza and Pasta. Just as a reminder, you only need to order six garlic knots and a small thin crust pizza. We wanted to try the mini golf course in Naples but when we got there it was raining. So we turned around and went back to Marco Island to Marco Golf and Garden. The course was challenging especially in the dark but in the end Dave won. We went back to the pro shop to return our clubs and balls and three of us ended up winning a free game of mini golf. Michael and Liam even got a free Popsicle.
We went back to the house to pack up. Everyone was very sad. We ended our final night on Marco Island with late night swimming and fishing.
