The road back to Whitehorse

After a few great days in Dawson City, it was time to head back to Whitehorse. We picked up road provisions for the drive and left Dawson City at 9:00am.

It was another great day for a drive. I am honestly running out of words to describe the Yukon scenery. We made a few stops along the way and got lucky with the construction delays.

We made a pit stop at Cheryl’s house which is about thirty minutes outside of Whitehorse.  It was nice to see her home and we made plans to meet up tomorrow.

On Thursdays, Whitehorse hosts the Fireweed Community Market at Shipyards Park which happens to be across the street from our AirBnb.  We arrived at 6:55pm and had about five minutes to check out some of the vendors.  We ordered supper from Ricky’s All Day Grill and ate it back at the condo.  After a long day of driving, the rest of the night was spent relaxing.
