Wendy Cameron is a friend of ours at work. About 4 years ago, she started volunteering with the National Service Dogs. A quote from their website … “National Service Dogs is a non-profit Registered Charity specializing in breeding, training and placing Labrador and Golden Retrievers with children who have autism”. It’s such a great cause.
Wendy started out as a weekend sitter and she has now graduated to puppy raiser. What’s really cool is that she gets to bring her puppy, Kyto, to work on Fridays. We always make it a point to go and visit with them for a few minutes.
This weekend happened to be NSD’s 10th Anniversary celebration so we decided to check it out. It was more that we wanted to see all of the doggies.
