At around 6:00am, a furry little nose pushed open my bedroom door. The excitement that Kai has when he sees you first thing in the morning is so cute.
Today we are exploring the town of Mont-Tremblant but specifically the Tremblant resort. We wanted a parking spot as close as possible to the pedestrian village so we ended up at Le Westin Tremblant.
We spent almost an hour walking around the village. It reminds me a lot of Blue Mountain. There was so much for Kai to see. We heard any people say “c’est Lassie” as we were walking around.

One thing we definitely wanted to do was to take the Panoramic Gondola to the summit of Tremblant. After purchasing our tickets ($32 CAD / person), we made our way over to the gondolas. Because it was not that busy, the three of us were able to ride by ourselves. I have to say that Kai did very well in the gondola during the 15 minute ride.

The first thing that you notice at the summit is how spectacular the views are from 2871 feet above. While I was sitting and looking around, I was imaging how busy it is during the winter. In total, there are 14 lifts than can carry up to 27230 skiers / hour. We spent about an hour wandering around the summit.

It was time to head back down the mountain. The three of us got into the gondola and once again Kai was a bon chien.

Before leaving, we decided to have an ice cream cone from Chocolato. You have your choice of 20 dips. I went with the dark chocolate while Karen went with the sea salt caramel.

The rest of the afternoon / early evening was spent relaxing and enjoying dinner from Auberge 1939.

We finished up the day with a drive back to Mont-Tremblant and more relaxing.
