Our time in the Quebec City area has come to an end but it is not the end of our vacation. We got everything packed up in the car and we were on the road before 10:00am.

Our destination is Mont-Tremblant which is about four hours away. Needless to say it was not too exciting of a day for Kai. For lunch, we stopped in Berthierville at the Cuthbert Chapel. It was a nice spot for us to enjoy our food and for Kai to have a bit of exercise.

I have a work colleague Dina that lives in Laval. And since we were driving through, we thought it would be fun to have a visit. We met up at a local park and she was finally to meet Kai in person versus the many photos she has seen of him. We still had another 1-1/2 hours of driving, so it was time for us to say goodbye to Dina. We promised that next time we will visit Montreal proper.

Dina did tell us that Premium Outlets Montreal was pretty good so we made a quick pit stop to check out a few stores before leaving the Montreal area.

Before getting to our Airbnb, we picked up supper from … you guessed .. St-Hubert in Mont-Tremblant. We are staying in La Conception which is about 15 minutes from the village. This place is very funky. It has a nice backyard for Kai including a dog house.

After super, we took Kai to one of the local parks for a walk. When we got back to the Airbnb, we were able to sit out on the back deck for a little bit before being chased indoors by the mosquitos.
