Around 7:30am, I hear Kai yipping. Basically he is saying that he is ready to start the day. I take him outside where he spends time watching the birds and chasing the chipmunks. Once everyone else got up, we had a lovely breakfast and then it was time for us to say goodbye.

When we visited the breeder back in June, he said that we could come anytime that we are in the area. And since Montreal is on the way to Quebec City, we thought that Kai would enjoy visiting his first family. Once again we were given the warmest of welcomes by everyone … humans and canines. It is so much fun to watch Kai running around with all the dogs. But especially watching how he and his sister Holly interactive with each other, it’s as if he never left. We had such a lovely visit with Kai’s first human family while Kai and his doggie family ran and played. Two hours later, it was time for us to say goodbye and make our way to Quebec City.

The drive to our Airbnb was just under three hours away. We actually could not find anything in Quebec City so we are staying in Sainte-Brigitte-de-Laval. This puts us about thirty minutes from Quebec City and about fifteen minutes from Montmorency Falls. On the way, we stopped at Fromagerie Victoria in Laurier-Station where we picked up dinner.
We made a quick stop at the IGA to pick up some groceries before arriving at our accommodations at 7:30pm. After getting all the stuff out of the car, everyone got unpacked and settled in. We are here for the next three nights. We finished up our day relaxing and planning out of next two days.
