In keeping with the theme of chasing the fall colours, we decided to go to the Spencer Gorge Conservation Area in Dundas. As with the other conservation areas, reservations are required and we picked the 12:15pm to 2:15pm time slot. After arriving at the very small parking lot, we grabbed our cameras and walked approximately ten minutes to the actual conservation area.
We were lucky in that we had another gorgeous day for our adventure. We started our walk through the open grounds and then headed for the cobblestone bridge that crosses Spencer Creek.
We meandered through a forested part of the trail and made our way up to a viewing area where we could see Webster Falls. It is a tiered waterfall that stands twenty two meters in height.
We left the falls and continued on the trail enjoying the beautiful fall colours. After lots of picture taking, it was time to leave. Spencer Gorge Conservation Area is another place that people should explore.
