Linda and Lassie go to Ptown

Early mornings are really starting to kill me but it’s ok, I am on vacation.  We decided to pick up breakfast from the Sea Street Cafe since their menu had so many good choices.  Karen and I decided to split the Peach Pecan French Toast and it was so yummy.  We got everyone packed up in the cars to start our journey to Provincetown.

Before leaving Hyannis, we stopped in at the Cape Cod Chips factory to take the self guided factory tour and stock up on chips and popcorn.  We stopped in Orleans to check out the sweatshirts at Cuffy’s of Cape Cod and lucky for us there was a Christmas Tree Shops next door.  That would make it store number three that we have visited.  From Orleans, it was only about thirty minutes to Provincetown also known as Ptown.

First thing we had to do was to get lunch.  We walked over to The Red Shack which had a great selection.  The lobster roll was one of the best I’ve ever had.  I had the Connecticut Lobster Roll which was just huge chunks of lobster dipped in butter on a hot dog bun.  We spent the afternoon walking up and down Commercial Street checking out all of the interesting stores.  Many of them allowed dogs which was great for Maui and some even had treats for him.

It was getting close to dinner time, so we thought we should head home.  Kris, Becca and Lynden stopped at the grocery store to pick up provisions for tonight while Karen and I stopped at Panera Bread and picked up dinner.  We are going to have a viewing party for the season finale of “The Little Couple”.  On the menu tonight is chips, popcorn, wine and mojitos.
