After getting up and packing the car, we got on the road to our next stop, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. The drive was uneventful except for some deer on the side of the road. We saw the funniest sign ever, too bad I didn’t take a picture of it. It was for a body shop and it said that it specialized in deer collisions.
We decided to stop for a late lunch at the Country Cupboard. Which also happened to be next door to our hotel for the night, Best Western Country Cupboard Inn ($99 USD). All I can say about this place is “OH MY GOD”. It combines two of my favourite things … shopping & eating. They had an awesome buffet which reminded me of the Stone Crock Restaurant in St. Jacobs. Once we had finished eating, we then enjoyed the one acre of shopping that is attached to the restaurant. We must have spent over an hour walking around the store. We then headed over to the hotel and checked in. The hotel has an indoor pool and outdoor pool, hot tub and the best part … free bags of ice for the guests.
We drove to downtown Lewisburg but not much was open. On the way back to the hotel, we stopped at Wal-Mart and the Weis grocery store.
We headed over to Bucknell University where the AU Eagles won again. This makes the AU Eagles undefeated so far this season in the Patroit League. After saying goodbye to Liz, headed over to Damon’s Grill for a late dinner.
We got back to the hotel for a quick soak in the hot tub before settling in for the night.
