We got up and packed up the car. Our trip home included stopping at a Russell Stover outlet to pick up Easter chocolates and having a fish dinner from Cracker Barrel on Good Friday. The destination for tonight was the Red Roof Inn in Fairmont, West Virginia.
Today we decided that we would head over to Charleston, North Carolina for the day. We went and toured Magnolia Plantation. It was very beautiful there. We were also fortunate enough to have dinner at Sticky Fingers and picked up some BBQ sauce.
We left Ocean City and arrived in Myrtle Beach at the Grande Shores Ocean Resort. We were on the ground floor and our room looked onto the lazy river and in the distance the ocean.
We left New Jersey and headed over to Delaware. I picked up my new camera and with the left over money, we got a radar detector.
Our stop for tonight is the Paradise Plaza Inn in Ocean City, Maryland. The hotel is located right on the boardwalk. We had seen a show on the Travel Channel talking about the best beach places and Ocean City was one of them. It also talked about this place called “Thrasher Fries” but unfortunately it was not open.
