We got to spend a lovely Saturday afternoon at Dave and Cathy’s house in Paisley meeting the newest addition to the Maloney family, Michael Thomas.

It’s Kaili’s birthday today.  He is nine.  Wow … time sure does fly.  I remember when he was just a puppy.  We took him to the University of Waterloo.  We take him there every year to do his birthday portrait.  This year we did it a few days early since he was just at the groomers.

There are many exciting events on the horizon for the Maloney family.  Kris & Becca are getting married on May 8 and Dave & Cathy are expecting their first child a week later.  The Maloneys decided to have a combination wedding shower and baby shower at Karen’s house.  Everyone had a great time.  I think the best part was the baby bottle drinking relay race.

It’s official … Kris and Becca are engaged.  Kris is Karen’s nephew.  I had the honour to take their engagement photos a couple of weeks ago.  We went to Gairloch Gardens which was only a few houses down from where Kris and Becca live.  It was a bit windy and cold but we did manage to get a few photos.
